Gulu’s condition was far from optimistic.

Seeing Gulu’s current state in her palm, Jun Ci frowned deeply.

Dianxia, Gulu doesn’t know what’s happening either. Gulu has consciousness and followed you here, but many of Gulu’s functions are no longer available. However, Gulu will work hard to collect all the information about this world for you as soon as possible. Please be patient.”

Gulu’s voice spoke directly in Jun Ci’s mind. It sounded like a child, a clear sign that it was in a weakened state.

It was so weak that Jun Ci could hear its fragility.

And yet, Gulu had once been the strongest Optical Brain in the entire interstellar empire!

The black hole had truly been a terrifying and powerful force of destruction.

“It’s okay, Gulu. Just focus on recovering for now. But there’s no proper charging medium for you here. Can your consciousness continue to function?”

Jun Ci could communicate with Gulu directly through her mind.

If the former playboy Crown Prince had anyone she truly trusted, aside from her mother, it was Gulu.

“I can manage. Solar energy can barely sustain me, but… I may not be able to offer much assistance to you, Your Highness.”

“That’s fine.”

Jun Ci wasn’t too concerned.

From what she had seen of this world so far, most places were poor and underdeveloped.

This wasn’t the empire she once knew. Many of Gulu’s advanced functions would be useless here anyway.

Right now, she wasn’t even worried about what Gulu could or couldn’t do. Her priority was solving her immediate problem.

Leaving the Zhang family.

Technically, leaving would be easy—Jun Ci could simply walk out the door.

But she had no money.

And she was still a high school student.

Her household registration was also in the Zhang family’s hands.

“Your Highness, Gulu can transfer your household registration for you. This world’s network is extremely primitive—I can hack into it anytime.”

Gulu was highly intelligent and linked directly to Jun Ci’s thoughts. It could analyze her situation and respond accordingly.

At the same time, it had built-in privacy protection—any overly personal or embarrassing details would automatically be filtered out.

Not that Jun Ci had anything to hide from Gulu anyway.

“Transfer my household registration?”

Jun Ci stroked her chin. That was actually a good idea.

Escaping the Zhang family wasn’t difficult for her—if she wanted, crushing them would be as effortless as an elephant stepping on an ant.

Now that she was in control of this body, as long as the Zhang family didn’t provoke her again, she had no interest in wasting time on insignificant civilians.

She was rather indifferent by nature. The things that had happened before? They happened to the former Jun Ci. The current Jun Ci was her, the Crown Prince. She only cared about what happened from this moment onward.

Which meant—if someone didn’t know their place now, don’t blame her, this crown prince, for being cruel.

Dianxia, murder is illegal in this world,” Gulu reminded her gently.

Jun Ci clicked her tongue. “I know.”

Murder had been illegal in the interstellar age too.

Besides, she had no interest in killing people at random—she wasn’t some bloodthirsty tyrant.

…Well, she wasn’t even a ruler at all, technically. She had failed in her coup attempt.

The thought of her failed rebellion made Jun Ci grind her teeth. “That old bastard gets to sit on the throne for another hundred years for free!”

And now, without a single threat to his reign.

Because the Crown Prince—she—had been reborn in a prehistoric era.

Who in the future could possibly stand in her father’s way now?

“Your Highness, I am still collecting data on this world. However, I have completed an analysis of your current body. You are a high school senior, 17 years old, still a minor, and about to take the college entrance exam. However, I have also detected a persistent toxin in your system. This poison has been affecting your facial features.”
